Soup of the Day

Spring is just around the corner! Even with these frosty nights, the sun has been helping us all pull through the final stages of winter. Our greenhouse gets amazing morning sun so even when the air is chilly, there’s a cozy space to soak up the rays, just as our tulip and daffodil bulbs do.

As always, the kitchen is ever productive and ever creative. We have introduced some new breads such as the 24-Karat Rye, Sourdough Potato and a specialty hot crossed bun. Our lunch time options are also expanding. We fill our empanadas with a variety of flavorful farm foods, wholesomely bake our falafel to stuff our house-made pita bread with Gill Greenery Sprouts, and dress our pizzas with the finest organic ingredients. Specials come and go so make sure to experience the assortment.

Don’t forget! Red Fire North makes delicious organic soups of many selections. Not only do we offer a Soup of the Day for lunch, we hot pack our soups in refundable glass jars for you to take home and enjoy. You can find these in the grocery section. This is a great way to eat healthy, save time and reduce waste. Thanks for being Eco-conscious!

Coming soon: Red Fire Farm Veggie, Flower & Herb Starters. We have a great selection of organic plants for your garden when the snow clears up and your soil is soft. Does your garden need some nutrients? Not to worry, we’ll have compost and potting soil too. Organic gardening is a great way to increase food sovereignty, enhance pollinator populations and nourish your community—human and non-human! Ask a crew member for recommendations on edible flower varieties or gardening tips. We’ve got you and your soil covered! Not a lot of space to garden? We also feature hanging flower pots, strawberries and herbs for convenient and beautiful home accompaniments.

Before you know it, we’ll have an influx of diverse, gorgeous & fresh produce from the farm. The farmers are working hard prepping their greenhouses, getting crops ready for the 2019 farming season. Thanks for supporting local and going organic. Your community, earth and body thank you for it!
