Manos Unidas Collaborative & Rumble Event!

Dear Friends of Red Fire Farm,

We want to let you know about a great donation of root vegetables and organic greens that Red Fire Farm is giving to the Manos Unidas Multicultural Educational Collaborative, a fantastico organizacion feminista from Pittsfield, who are doing important work uplifting the community in their part of the Berkshires.

Paul Voiland and crew at Red Fire North are packing up boxes of root vegetables to ship out to Pittsfield next week, so the cooks from the Gustitos Boricua Catering Coop will have access to organic produce from Montague when the are cooking a comida criolla gratis for the upcoming benefit showing of the movie Rumble (rumblethemovie.com) at the Shea Theater on Friday, February 22nd.

Food grown in Montague, prepared in Pittsfield, and served to you for free on Friday night, Feb 22nd, as you are waiting for the great female directed film about the Native influence on American roots music and rock and roll. Now that's some deep roots!

On the bill for the Rumble at the Shea event are Holyoke's premier Cubano-style conga band - Bomba de Aqui - guarenteed to get you dancing! as well as Urban Thunder, a Native drum group from the 5-College area.

Do not miss this important cultural experience. Come taste the freshest music, dancing, food, and cinema in town, when our town welcomes Manos Unidas, Bomba de Aqui and Urban Thunder to the Shea Theater in downtown Great Falls - - 01376.

Thank you Red Fire Farm!
